Two ways to solving word problems is to find a pattern and guess and check your answers.

As an active learner it’s good to study in a group and take turns explaining different topics. Work with each other to guess what will be on the next test and figure out how to answer them.
As a sensing learner ask for specific examples of concepts and procedures, and find out how the concepts apply in practice.

2. Yes I can remember exactly how my math anxiety started. It started in high school in my algebra class. I got anxiety because it was just so frustrating to me and when I would ask the teacher for help she never explained it to where it clicked in my head. The one math class that I didn’t have anxiety in was geometry. To me that class was cake.

Entering a new school environmentis always a scary, but wonderful experience. So far everything is going smooth, all my teaches seem to be nice. Though I don’t really know yet. Coming from PA to this small town of Los Lunas was enough with out school.
